Paxton: Eyes of the Mystery

Spoilery for my fanfic Repurposed, so...yer warned.

Screen cap of the Fear 3 trailer, and... Well, those are the Gman's eyes straight from his texture files.

I would love Paxton even more if he had Gman's eyes.

And if you've been following Repurposed, you'd know why I would even bother with this image.


And for those who aren't up on it:

Xkah-shuu'vah is the title that the Vortigaunts have given Paxton Fettel in my fanfic Repurposed. It translates in a variety of ways, most commonly interpreted as "the Inheritor" (that's cap-I, not just 'an' inheritor, but 'the' Inheritor) or "son of the mystery". I'm working on the Vort language bits that I am using in the fic right now, actually. Xkah means 'focal point, important (thing)', shuu (or shu) I've come to interpret as 'offspring, brood' based on its use in Episode 2 of Half Life 2 (shu'ulathoi meaning 'unhatched advisors'); vah means 'mystery, hidden facets,' or even 'lies' if used in a very negative context.

Thus... the Son of the Mystery. Actually, grandson. But whatever.
