Zombies

I didn't last long
when the zombies came for me
I tried to fight back

I stopped hearing screams
long before they came for me
I hoped they would leave

They found me quickly
I thought I had a good place
they surrounded it

Zombies are smelly
they stink of shit and bad meat
and the flies like them

Most zombies are slow
some of them run too damn fast
you don't expect that

Zombies are stupid
but when they travel in groups
you don't stand a chance

Ran out of ammo
should have used something harder
maybe a shovel

I guess it was good
the fighting I did, I mean
but it didn't help

They tore me apart

they will eat your eyes

Though they ate some parts
they left enough to get up
